Where should I place the Licking Stick in my food plot?
Set it in an open, high-visibility part of the plot within range of your stand or blind, where deer entering to feed will see it and detour to check it.

Will it keep deer in my food plot longer?
Yes — it gives feeding deer a reason to stop and interact instead of passing straight through, which extends time in the plot and improves your odds of a shot and a camera picture.

Do I need to reapply scent all season?
No. The included AllSeason Scent gets it started, and once deer begin marking the stick they keep it active on their own.

When is the best time to put one out?

The best time to setup your Licking Stick is immediately after you till and plant your food plot, or whenever you put out your cameras. For us, it's usually June, July, or August. You can put it in any time, however the earlier the better as to let deer interaction build into the deer season.
